Records Storage & Document Management
Inactive File Services
Inactive files are the records and documents you need to keep for a designated retention period. Or they may be archival documents with historic value that require appropriate storage to conserve their condition.
Storing Inactive Files
FileBank will store your inactive files in letter/legal boxes manufactured from regular grade, 205 lb test cardboard. Once packed, boxes are stored in FileBank’s climate controlled storage facilities. This consistent environment will ensure your records and documents will be conserved in virtually original condition for as long as you need them.
Packing and Indexing Inactive Files
When indexing your inactive files, you can build a complete inventory of the records you are storing. Indexing can be as simple as bar coding the boxes you are storing, or as detailed as bar coding every single file within each box – depending on your company’s file access needs. This makes it easier to retrieve the information you need and takes the guess work out of which box contains the file you want.
FileBank will assist you with packing and indexing your records, providing experienced staff, complete with supplies. Once packed and indexed, FileBank will bar code all your boxes and arrange for the pickup and storage of your inactive files.
Save Time & Money
Compare what it’s costing you to store and manage your documents in-house and you’ll see FileBank’s rates are significantly lower. You’ll reclaim costly office space and save on valuable employee hours.
